Director

James Blyth

James has over 20 years experience in the Geotechnical industry, and founded SoilSafe in 2020. James is passionate about the environment, and enjoys spending his personal time racing motorbikes.

Mechanical Engineer

Michael Ghislain

Michael joined SoilSafe in 2024. Leveraging his Mechanical Engineering background, Michael contributes to ACSW testing, research, and development. In his free time, Michael enjoys gym workouts and playing football.

Principal Engineer

Chris Milne

Chris is a UK Registered Ground Engineering Adviser, Chartered Civil Engineer (FICE) and Chartered Geologist with over 35 years engineering and commercial experience.

People Operations Manager

Kira Dyer

Kira joined SoilSafe in 2024. Kira has a background in administration and project management, supporting with HR and the companies operational success. In her personal time, Kira enjoys spending time in the gym, and reading philosophy.

Civil Engineering Apprentice

Jake Owen

Jake joined SoilSafe in 2023. Jake is currently completing a Civil Engineering Apprenticeship and works alongside Izzy. Jake aspires to be a Civil Engineer in the future. When not in work, Jake enjoys working out in the gym, and is a goal keeper for his local team.

Geotechnical Engineer

Izzy Blamires

Izzy joined SoilSafe in 2022. With a background in Geophysics, Izzy supports with ACSW testing, Settlement Analysis and Validated Independent Base Design (VIB). Outside of work, Izzy plays cricket and enjoys running.
